Nothing feels better than a hot shower after a long day of nerve-racking hard work. The peace and relaxation you feel as the water runs down you tired body is simply irreplaceable. That's why you need to make sure that your bathroom is always as comfortable as possible and well equipped with the right add-ons. Therefore, if you plan on renovating and improving your old bathroom anytime soon, below are some must-have bathroom accessories.

A cool towel rack

Your towel rack usually plays a significant role in the overall look of your bathroom. Therefore, you should make sure that the rack is not only strong enough to sustain the weight of your towel but also aesthetically designed for visual appeal. For instance, you could install a glass towel rack for that modern bathroom appearance. Moreover, a silver one is always a good complement to a white bathtub, in case you are aiming for some elegance and class. However, if you intend on achieving a natural look, you could go for a wooden one that is well varnished for waterproofing.

A mounted shampoo holder

There is nothing wrong with your ordinary plastic shampoo container, but a mounted shampoo holder is just better. With it, you wouldn't have to worry about moving your bottle to the shower every time you need to take a bath. For example, you could install a retractable holder on your bathroom wall, or you could have your wall carved out instead for convenience. Other than using ceramic for the carved out part, you could fit a designer sea shell instead to give your bathroom that exotic coastal look. Apart from that, make sure the positioning is done strategically so that it's not too high for the shortest guy.

A great bathroom vanity

One way to add style and functionality to your bathroom space is by adding a bathroom vanity. This cabinetry piece would not only give you a great look, but it would also grant you better storage space for your items. Depending on your taste,  go for designer cabinets with odd shapes and fancy mirrors or just stick with a traditional rectangular one. Regardless of the type, what you want is to ensure that your cabinet complements the walls of your bathroom. For instance, if your walls are white, then a light grey vanity would do the trick. Other than that, you can also have your sink mounted on it in order to save more space.
